BF and I gave Hot Harry's a try recently. We both thought the chips (they come with the burritos btw!) were totally awesome and fought over the last little bits in the bottom of the bag. Since we got it to go, we didn't get to try all of the salsas available for dine-in. We both got classic burritos, one with steak and one with spicy chicken. I loved the chicken! The spiceness added so much flavor, but I would leave out the lettuce next time...there's something about warm lettuce that just never tastes right to me. Great local option; I still prefer Pancheros tortilla, but I will definitely be back to Hot Harry's to try their Thai Chicken burrito!

Great place with friendly people. Tried the special and it was a great new taste. Getting chips with the meal is a nice addition and the salsa bar let's you pick out your favorite. I also highly recommend the lime cilantro beef - great taste and really tender.

Hot Harry's kicks Panchero's burrito hole! Hot Harry's offers more options of toppings/fillings and the customer service is much better. The salsa bar is an interesting option, but I agree that it could use more variety and maybe higher quality. I got the vegetarian fajita burrito and it was simply delicious. The sauteed onions and peppers were out of this world. I recommend adding them to whatever you decide to order. It will be hard for me to stray from my vegetarian fajita burrito because it was so great, but I am excited to try all the different flavors! This place is a must eat!!

I went for lunch last week. It is pretty cool that they have so many unique flavors although for my first visit I stayed conservative and ordered a steak burrito. The steak seemed a notch above pancheros. The tortilla was identical. They have a salsa bar, which is pretty cool, but none of the salsa's are especially good. If they had cooked onions or fresh cilantro available, it would go a long ways with me. The burritos/tacos come with free chips. It's a nice touch, but the plain salsa makes them not very fun. In retrospect, it's surreal how below-average all the salsa's are. "Medium" was the winner, at 4 out of 10 stars. I'll try the place within the next couple of months and update my review (the steak was good and I'm still hopeful). Update - The medium salsa tasted a little better this time... though I only got the medium and knew to avoid everything else. I got a veggie burrito and it was pretty good. The sort of strange grilled veggies they put in (Cauliflower?) were surprisingly good too. I'm upgrading the rating to 4 stars.

This place was very good! The service was amazing, and the food was great!!! And there were free chips! The only complaint I have is the salsa was a little too sweet for my tastes...

Best burrito around! Way better than any of the chains! Multiple of different meats and homemade sauces, salsas, and a free salsa bar!

BEING FROM SCHENECTADY New York I know this is the best burrito in America awesome choices great prices free chips and they don't use a spoon to pre chew your food for you

Came in for lunch and was very impressed. Staff was friendly and eager to explain ingredients and options. Ingredients seemed to be fresh and high quality, and my burrito tasted great. Tortilla chips were good and salsa bar had about 6 different choices. I look forward to coming back for breakfast next time I'm in town.

Hot Harry's so far has the best breakfast burrito in town. The best thing about it is you can add anything you want to it, making for a more personal experience. It's not fare to say who's the best between Hot Harry, Pancheros, and Chipotle because they all have something different to offer.

Like the salsa bar and that you get chips with your burrito. One recommendation: go enchilada style

Went to try Hot Harry's for a quick dinner take out and had an OK experience. Ordered a chicken burrito ( a classic choice I know) and unsurprisingly it was...OK. Didn't taste bad but I have had better. The ingredients again mediocre and nothing incredible to die for. But as at burrito would' it filled me up and for that I'm thankful. The staff was pretty friendly and the place was not that busy. I would go again but with a better option such Pancheros or even the ever amazing El Perico in Marion it's going to take a lot out of me to visit Harry's again.

It's like Panchero's, Chipotle, Freebirds, etc with different ingredients. I did like the Fried Catfish option. The Thai style was pretty good. Nothing to rave about but worth a try. To me it's just like the others with different fillings.

Finally made it in for the 2nd time this past week. More at the urging of a friend here on Yelp, to be honest. I'm moving my rating up to two stars, primarily because they have gotten better in a relative sense, but it's still not a place that I was so overwhelmed with that I feel the desire to go back for a third visit anytime soon. I should have tried the buffalo chicken burrito again, if only to give an apples-to-apples comparison, but the bacon cheeseburger burrito was sounding pretty good that day, so I did that instead. The burrito filling was indeed very tasty. I was pleased with that. From what I could tell visually it seems they have upgraded their ingredients, etc. The service was friendly. No issues there. They do have newer menu boards, and they are better laid-out, but if drinks are now included I could not find them... and I tried. Maybe it's just me, but I don't feel that I should have to ask how much something costs, nor should I be surprised when presented with the bill. I had ice water again, as a matter of principle. (Was better for me health-wise, anyway.)

The meat was decent but the rest of the burrito combination was kinda bland, the beans needed seasoning, the salsa's were weak also, and they had way too much lime. The restraunt was also in need of some cleaning, the tables needed wiping down and the floors needed to be swept. If going to a burrito chain I would prefer chipotle.

I think this place is a bit better than Pancheros, but certainly not as good as Chipotle (which we don't have in CR.) I went for lunch and ordered the regular burrito with steak. It was big and, not only that, quite flavorful! I was surprised to find that tortilla chips also came with the burrito...making the price seem quite reasonable. The chips also provided me with the opportunity to try a number of their salsas. I stuck mostly with the mild and medium flavors. I probably should have tried a few of the hotter salsas, as I did find the mild and medium ones just a little too sweet for my liking. The service could have been a little more friendly, but overall I had a decent experience. I won't drive all the way across town for it, but if I'm in the area and needing lunch, I'm sure I'll be back.

Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
